Trisha is both a Childbirth & Postpartum Doula, as well as an overall incredible human. She has a very calming, sweet prescence and her passion for caring for and supporting all families on their individual perinatal journeys is palpable when you meet her.

Trisha is trained and certified in both birth and postpartum support through Birthworker's Academy. She is also CPR/BLS Certified. Trisha has a background in health case management and a bachelors in psychology. She is very well-spoken and her enthusiasm for helping families have empowering birth journeys in contagious and wonderful!

Trisha's own journey to motherhood and her subsequent births led her into the beautiful world of birthwork, as she is naturally a very empathetic person with a love for nature. Her superpower is finding common ground with those around her, and being able to find connection with everyone. She is extremely easy to talk to and a gentle and kind personality who will most definitely meet and exceed your expectations for your birth and postpartum support.

A Note From Trisha:

I grew up in Mechanicsburg, IN and now reside in Hendricks County. I'm a mom of 3 girls and 1 boy. I enjoy poetry, reading, and crafting.

I became passionate about birthwork when I felt like my birth experience lacked, as I think is the experience for so many others. It lacked in education, informed decision-making and consent, and I wasn't sure how to advocate for myself. I'm motivated by learning, so I set off to learn all that I could before having my last baby. I was determined to advocate for myself and experience an unmedicated birth...which I did! But I couldn't have without my doula. It's such a priceless thing to have a doula. Beyond being a mother myself, I have also nannied and provided postpartum doula services. I am trained for both birth and postpartum doula services.

Birth is sacred, a sprititual experience, a journey of coming home to yourself. You should feel safe and have the ability to advocate for yourself. My quiet, but fierce confidence lends assurance.
